Joined University of Jyväskylä as Postdoctoral Researcher

Started a new position as Postdoctoral Researcher in e-health and wearable sensing at the Faculty of Sport and Health Sciences, University of Jyväskylä. Working on quantifying physical activity using wearable sensors and developing the Porrastesti mobile app for remote fitness estimation.

PhD Defense

Successfully Defended PhD Thesis

Defended my doctoral dissertation "Sensitivity of High-Fidelity Neural Interfaces to Perturbations" at Aalto University School of Electrical Engineering. The thesis investigates how reliable non-invasive neural interfaces based on high-density surface EMG and motor-unit decoding are when real-world disturbances occur.
